What to say to docter for acutane

Im 15 and my mum said she would take me to the doctors to ask about acutane and I want to know what I should say my acne is pretty bad and I’ve tried diet,skin care and stuff like that but havent seen any success

they will most probably give it to you anyways if you have bad acne

But just say Ive tried everything else and nothing has worked for me or something like that

You are going to the dermatologist right? Where I’m from normal doctors can’t prescribe it only dermatologist can

I've gone through adapalene, epiduo and I'm about to go for tretinoin next because I'm coping my mind out before going for isotret since my cousin had horrific side effects that scared me away from it, atleast the oral version, but oral isotretinoin/accutane are unironically probably the only non cope methods to resolving acne at the cost of your liver

I used 0.05% tretinoin for about 5 months now and my acne is almost gone probably another 1-2 month and that’s it. I say it’s worth to give tret a try. Just make sure you buy a moisturizer and lip balm.

If ur acne isn’t bad say you’ve tried topical retinoids including tretinoin u got from a friend, and they they haven’t made a dent in your skin. say ur face produces a lot of oil and if you don’t cleanse for a day you build up hard oil plugs on your nose and it feels like crust. Say u have to bring wipes to school to wipe off ur forehead midday because of the oil and that u have blackheads and oxidized oil that wont turn over, should just get it form indiamart but mark me solution
