If we are supposed to avoid carbs like rice, what should be a proper muscle gaining diet? Personally I limited carbs till 40%, while the rests are healthy fats and protein.

What should I change? My only sources of carbs are rice, oats and fruit, while my sources of fats are eggs, meat etc.

meat eggs milk and a bit of fiber either through fruits and/or vegetables. Milk/yogurt will your primary source of energy (just like our ancestors from the steppe). I hope you're not lactose intolerant.

Now obviously i'm not your dad. But oats are utter garbage. If you want carbs that bad, just eat a small amount of white rice along with your protein (meat + broth cottage cheese whatever) at night. Honestly the bone broth + meat + rice + veggies that SE asia consumes is pretty alright. But they're lactose intolerant subhumans so there's that

I eat oats mainly because they are very quick to prepare, and often times I need to prepare and eat quickly in the morning.

I'm not lactose intolerant but unfortunately had to drop most dairy products, as they cause me acne. It is what it is, I miss my greek yogurt and milk :feelswah:
