What type of surgery should i have for my recessed chin. I was thinking of Double Jaw Surgery with Genioplastly. If i dont have this surgery, is it over for me.

Important notes:
- 17 Years of age
- 6 foot 1
- 95 kg.

yh, u look like a very good candidate for double jaw surgery. u should consult with a maxillofacial surgeon when ur 18.

its never over 😉

I'm getting braces through the NHS because I'm on the list for free treatment. Since I'm 17 and my bones are still developing , will the braces still help improve my jaw, or will it mostly stay the same

no, itll mostly stay the same. by 17, growth in the maxilla is extremely small, or is already finished. the mandible’s growth will also be minimal.

ur best option is orthodontics, then surgery

Trimax is like 30k and up. How am i going to accumulate that much money when im under 18.
no idea, but u asked for what surgery u should have. so i answered.

You don't have a recessed chin, you have a recessed jaw. It's your jaw that's the issue.

I suggest trying to lose weight as well in the meantime.

State the obvious tho if you can, I have a very slight overbite but I was told I may need lefort 1 or some other jaw surgery. Also I cant really tell if my maxilla is recessed or not. Any hardmaxing pointers would help.
