don't understand why people don't want to go to a decent uni to do something like comp sci or engineering and be chilling doing 3-5 hours of work a day by their mid-late 20s and getting paid over 6 figs

To all the people recommending nursing.. there is a pretty big difference in income and actual work nurses in the US and in Europe do.

The job is very hard and if you are disgusted by excrements, bad smells, etc, it's nothing for you.
Oh and also, in many European countries you'll have to work rather uncomfortable shifts.. so unless you have no problem with work starting at 6 am, I would overthink nursing again.
