Hollow knight ( Difficult but worth it if you like diffculty)

Dark Souls games (Any same shit as Hollow Knight)

The Dishonored series ( Best level development in video game history, your choices actually matter )

The Batman series ( what made the original superhero game )

Hades ( Another one of those hard roguelikes but very addictive )

If you want unlimited playability then Terraria

Would say that although haven't gotten to playing 3 yet. But 5 is really beginner friendly compared to the other games. What games do you like maybe I can help you based on that? Looking through my steam library I'll list some fun games: Arkham games, Cyberpunk, Skyrim, HITMAN, Spiderman, people playground, ready or not, rdr2, SW battlefront 2, TABS and just cause 3

Nioh can be VERY punishing if you're just getting started on it. I've played all souls games before Nioh and it's much more unforgiving.
Nioh 1 especially.

Haven't heard of it, but looked it up and saw the genre: immersive sim.

From the description it seems to share some DNA with Dishonored 1+2, Deus Ex Human Revolution/Mankind Divided, Thief, Prey.

I'm pretty sure you can get all of them for 90 USD (less even) as they are super cheap. Search gg.deals for the lowest price and they'll have sites with keys you can redeem on Steam.

If it's the visuals you are after, you can try Hotline Miami, Hylics.

Cruelty squad does indeed seem like a one of a kind game.

Yeah Nioh is the only game where I nearly broke my controller playing it. Might come back one day to finish the first game. Who knows?

I really don't believe it's all that crazy. If you do a little bit of co-op or by the end of your first playthrough you would most likely have every level layout memorized. Just slap on the scroll to make you run faster and just go straight to the end
