The era that changed music.
In my opinion it was the 80s. So many legendary hits and bands come from that era, from rock and metal, og rap, to the pioneers of electronic music, ballads and legendary pop/rock stars that other so called "musicians" from modern day era will never be able to reach.
Micheal Jackson would be the richest musician of all time if he was still live. Incredibly talented musician, the king of pop, no one will ever be able to reach the vocal range he had.
Madonna the queen of pop also comes from that era.
The biggest bands ever known to human kind come from this era.
80s songs still get played on the radio very often.
Also days of the real OG MTV contributed to the development of music videos.
