sad i was born in 09

would loved to have grown up in late 1990s / early 00s in the US when shit was the perfect time of being decent prices
decent political climate (debatable)
mfs could actually afford to drive around and buy clothes and go out to eat and have cash left over

not just larping i had a convo with someone about this who lived at that time

Honestly Inthink every generation envies the gen that preceded it.

Boomers and millennials are kinda salty over not growing up with AI and having cheap 60inch TVs and modern internet. We can argue how 'bad this is but 20/30 years ago this was a luxury.

Maybe there are distinctive advantages certain generations get e.g. housing.

But even gen Alpha will develop some jealousy of the future generation not born yet.

You got to experience the best of both worlds Pre Internet Social Media, gaining the wisdom of both
and also being able to experience the best Movies,Friendships,Video Games etc back when you had to
go to Blockbuster to rent Games/Movies playing Tekken Arcade outside with your friends enjoying their
company without glazing at your phone like zombies

90's especially growing up as a child was literal heaven on earth simply indescribable to anyone
who wasnt around then to experience especially if you were a child
