I feel like I never got the real .org experience since I joined in 2023 and then I lost my previous account completely missing 2024 due to that reason

a lot of good ideas were flowing around, it was niche too so it didnt have that tiktok comment feeling that org does now. It just felt more authentic.

It was like playing one of those singleplayer big map RPGs and entering a new unexplored niche area with its own little ecosystem, while people are developing the community, having feuds due to mental illnesses, and releasing the brand new "theories" that have become a staple today. Granted, a lot of the stuff was cope, but a lot of it wasn't. The entirety of what we call softmaxing today was invented during this time, all the categories and everything. A ton of brainpower went into it, collectively, to package the product you tiktokcels now know as looksmaxing. Maybe some "methods" have been forgotten but idk I think most of the stuff is present with us, among the posts. I was there when they "invented" bonesmashing in those autistic discords. Same with chewing, thumb pulling. The way it happened was that incels were also orbiting functional facial posture therapy shit with mike mew etc. and the two communities collabed in discords and reddit, literally. That was a part of its growth during my time around. Communities absorbed one another, as lookism became more important in society.

it was much worse than lookism between 2014-2018 which was truly niche funny place and you knew you were speaking a language others couldnt comprehend compared to now where everyone knows what mewing and maxilla means.
i enjoyed orb threads and looking at his autistic sketches of walking penis men jfl. he was genuinely non-nt.
i enjoyed trolling mike mew. go to youtube and find the original q&as with mike mew and some of the funny youtube usernames which mew had to wrestle with jfl.

Someone asked me this before on my profile and i answered them. I will just copy paste what i said to him here. To the differences i noticed from back then to now:

Its incomparable. Used to be a tightknit group of a few dozen people who all knew each other. Advice was consistently improved upon.

From what i see now, the community is massive. I barely recognize anyone. Most OG posters left.

Looksmaxxing went viral. The new posts on here definitely seem lower quality after it became popular. Even in the Looksmax/looksmax Question sections.

There is a reason why much of the "Best of the best" section is still from 2018-2021 or so.

Then again, i have only been active a total of maybe 3 days since April, 2020. About 2 days in 2024 and one day in 2025 (that being today lmao). You are lucky to have caught me online.

Take what i say with a grain of salt. These are all observations i made with a very limited time on here. I could be wrong.

TL DR:

Higher quality posts on average, everyone knew each other. Though, race baiting was more common back than in comparison to now.

Everyone knew each other. It was a close tight net community especially in 2020. Off topic was always on fire with good topics and good shitposting. @Kingkellz made some high quality masculinity threads. He destroyed Barrett fanboys who were gay for the pretty boy look. 85 percent of the forum now is under the age of 21 now since the tiktok normie invasion. The forum will never be as good as it once was. Guys like Clavicular and K Shami contributed a lot to this trying to profit off a very niche philosophy which already has lots of autism and flaws in it's ideology especially regarding looksmaxxing.
