I've been leanmaxxing for so long and idk what metrics makes me in the 10-12% range , just bones visibilty yes but it's not precise if you have good bones you will look lean even at more body fat % , bmi , body measurements cope too they don't count muscle mass and overall fat composition ( you could have lean waist but fat legs)

I was studying correlation between bmi and dxa scan and seems 20-21 bmi is where most people fall in the 10-12% range.
Does anyone know this ?

I've heard cms = lbs is a good height:weight to aim for

If you have no muscle mass it will be near-impossible to lean down.
Focus on building muscle and losing fat, stay in a slight deficit (not too aggressive to prevent muscle wasting and bone loss), go gym.
IMO the best BMI for body for female and male appeal is 23-25, with bodyfat percentage of ~12%

BMI doesn’t work well on gymcels. You could be a jacked and only 12% bf but still cross the 25 BMI mark while irl being more healthy than someone who hasn’t touched a weight but is 23 BMI. BMI is Health metric for normalfags.
Imho be around 24 BMI while being 12% bf, ideal for showing gains, maintaining them and also for long term health.

Sounds way too much im like 70kg rn 177 cm and still no abs definition n shit
You prolly have less muscle mass. Take a bio impedance scan and check for your “SKMM” which will be listed in KGs. That’s your skeletal muscle mass. For 70kg of TBW your SKMM has to be around 33-36 kgs for any kind of muscle definition to show.

Next check for BF% and BF in kgs. Make sure your BF in kgs in less than 8.5 (that would be 12% bf for you) next time you come here to comment.
