Is he a permarotter? Idk I played dota for a while but I have phased out of it now. I got to a pretty high rank but its to much of a time commitment if you want to get better. Each game is like 40 minutes long.

If your brother does it for leisure at 30 it doesn't really matter. Idk but playing DOTA for 4-5 hours a day is cope unless your a tier 1 pro or major streamer.
