So write now I have a decent overbite with overjet in the front teeth, and it really fucks up my smile so I want to get it corrected via braces and forsus appliance.

Will it really effect anything or would it help in fact

braces would do absolutely nothing but halt your forward growth, imagine the braces as concrete fencing around your palate, now no matter how hard you push forward with your tongue, your palate will stay in the same position. My maxilla hasn't grown any forwards since the age of twelve due to braces. Honestly, with how forward-grown you are, you can probably get braces and be just fine, but I don't see why you would need braces.

Depends on how old you are, if you're still in your early to mid teens you might be halting your forward growth by installing braces.
But if you are already 18+ you won't get any forward growth naturally anyway and braces won't impact bone growth at that age since it will only affect your bite and the way your teeth are aligned
