Gen Z has staunchly defined themselves in opposition to millennials by rejecting the apparent millennial trait of "extending youth" partying and having fun and taking up hobbies well into their 30s and even 40s. Rather than taking on some stoic parental, authority figure, salary worker role for the rest of their indefinite life

Does Gen Z expect they will take responsibility, put on the suits, and buckle down into a career oriented, family starting lifestyle once they all cross 30 and never look back? Just living like that for the next 50+ years?

it will be worse for our generation, most people wouldnt have built anything long term for that age since its harder too than before

a lot of regret, so more coping and avoidance of serious roles

A lot of roping

I do genuinely believe assisted suicide will drastically shoot up (maybe time to invest in this?)

I think we've hit at an existential discrepancy where the world has been opened up and the average 18 year old stands in front of endless different things to do and paths to take, but human life is still far too short to hardly do any of it. And the abundance of these choices and simultaneous insignificance of picking any one makes them all pretty much interchangeable. Given that your ability to do the millions of different fun and cool things in the world wraps up around 30, i think the next generations will protest life itself and end their lives mostly in the 40s, some in the 30s. They been given a bunch of decades tacked onto the end of life that dont really mean anything, and unlike previous generations being an elder isnt really respected or regarded at all in our current culture/society. We have enough countless examples of how the face and body ages to know what's going to happen to us. So I think when youth has expired for many people will just opt out.

We're becoming people just rolling off an assembly line...
