It's his business isn't it? I do not care one bit about that sort of thing. I mean, if he's still kicking her head after she's laying on the ground unconscious I'd attempt to restrain him to keep him from killing her and ruining his life. For his sake.

The only time I'd stop a man from hitting a woman would be if she were my daughter. However if it was her husband I would not because, again, that would be his business and not mine. At that point, however much I might still love her, she would be of his house and not mine anymore. I'd have no grounds. And if I ever have a daughter she'll be made well aware of my stance on this long before she ever leaves my house and gets married.
