I would probably wait until people outside eat each other, then go to the local mall to get free stuff, food, video games, etc...
BTW, there's a hotel near me with a medieval theme, and they have this knight's plate armor outside, it would perfect to wear and not worry about any zombie bites, it's weird you never see this in a zombie movie...
