Any of you experts in anti-histamines?

Went to the doc today for bloods and flushing.

Lately when I get hot and exercise, I get intense full-body flushes. I suspect it’s due to salt intake or a histamine response.

Doc prescribed me rupatadine. I’m reading up on it rn and it’s a mogger med for what I’m reading rn

It basically blocks all PAF receptors, lowers vasodilation and inflammation.
And it amplifies your mast cells

Lowers histamine, leukotrienes and cytokines. It basically also helps with skin sensitivity, redness from pressure or inflammation anywhere in your body and overreactive skin on cycle.

Should work wonders with iso because it blunts early iso inflammation and anecdotes say purging is non-existent while running rupatadine. Also counters mt2/1 flushing obviously

Sides :
Dry mouth
Headaches
Mild hypotension

We’ll see what happens innit
If it’ll eliminate any leftover PIE or iso purging, and also fix flushes from just heat/friction/ or mt1

I tried a low/zero histamine 'diet' last year for like 2 months and felt generally better, but haven't looked much more into it. Really curious if someone here has some experience with the subject

Been on antihistamines (mirtazipine) for sleep for about a year atp and they killed my allergies

Didnt know they also had anti inflammatory effects lol
