Depends what problems you have, if you have an overly narrow face and unprojected zygos then it could project them by a mm or 2. If your face is wide that could be a problem. Also be aware that your nasal base could widen too if you get a lot of expansion very fast. With the palate and impacted tooth you have i'd say it's worth it
