There are others way to move whole maxilla forward like Bollards or lefort 2
I dont think bollard plates can move entire maxilla coz its connected near alveolar bone .there should be a strong bone anchorage for protraction to happenThere are others way to move whole maxilla forward like Bollards or lefort 2
Yea i just showed an example that it is possible to advance the maxilla using devices
What do you think about this way of moving the entire maxilla forward. I feel like this way is a lot more convenient cheaper and easier than getting a facemask by an orthodontist. You can see that the expander in the image expands the anterior maxilla forward. I feel like wearing it 24/7 and on top of that thumbpulling Atleast 10+ minutes a day would give resultsYea i just showed an example that it is possible to advance the maxilla using devices
I dont believe in these types of expander except biobloc.biobloc can changes our function which makes oru maxilla recessed in the first placeWhat do you think about this way of moving the entire maxilla forward. How does a biobloc make your maxilla recessed?I dont believe in these types of expander except biobloc.biobloc can changes our function which makes oru maxilla recessed in the first place
I said that biobloc fixes function which fixes recessionHow does a biobloc make your maxilla recessed?
Biobloc looks very similar to the expander I just showed you. Why would biobloc work but not the one I showed you? Here biobloc:I said that biobloc fixes function which fixes recession
Biobloc doesn't do anything except for tipping your teeth. How does a biobloc make your maxilla recessed?
Its not about looking similar its about the design.it allows you to change your functionBiobloc looks very similar to the expander I just showed you. Why would biobloc work but not the one I showed you? Here biobloc:
It can do small amount of skeletal expansion.its not about the amount tbh.when usingn custom marpe it reduces the saggital lentgh of the palateBiobloc doesn't do anything except for tipping your teeth.
Hmm… well I’ve already bought the expander from braces shop so I’m obviously gonna use it it’s coming in 2 weeks I’ll let you know how it goesIts not about looking similar its about the design.it allows you to change your function
There's no real evidence of change here really. If you look closely, the curvature of the upper lip and nasal projection look near identical.
Bullshit. There's 0 evidence backing this. Biobloc doesn't do anything. It can do small amount of skeletal expansion.its not about the amount tbh.when usingn custom marpe it reduces the saggital lentgh of the palate
What is the serious complications you have seen?asymmetry?have you seen any single cases of fme with asymmetry?make sure you know abt it well without posting whatever you thinkThere's no real evidence of change here really. The focal length, length at which the photo was taken, angle of the head can all distort comparisons. You can tell that the before photo is slightly closer to the head than the after photo. The girls head is also more inclined in the before.
The best evidence of change would be a cephalogram - which these people never do.
The girl would be better off with an LF1 imo.
You're obsessed with maxillary protraction devices. They only have high efficacy in under 11s, significantly less in under 15s and barely any real change from 16 onwards after the sutures of the maxilla have completely sealed.
I’m sure you’ll argue about expanders though but there isn’t going to be a device that is much better at breaking the bone without serious complications.
You didn’t actually read my comment. You don’t even read your own sources properly though so I’m no surprised. What is the serious complications you have seen?asymmetry?have you seen any single cases of fme with asymmetry?make sure you know abt it well without posting whatever you think
You dont have a point so you posted whatever you wanted as i saidYou didn’t actually read my comment. You don’t even read your own sources properly though so I’m no surprised.
If you are takiing about that photo just open your eyes and you can see that i said that i used it just as an example. There's no real evidence of change here really. If you look closely, the curvature of the upper lip and nasal projection look near identical.

Yes.... And the example doesn't show any real changes at all. So it's an example of what exactly then?If you are takiing about that photo just open your eyes and you can see that i said that i used it just as an example.
