There's many countries that won't stand for this like India and Muslim Middle eastern countries and all out war could ensue.

JFL it’s so self centered to think that out of the entire 200K+ years of human existence so far, the end of the world will happen during your lifetime of all ages. How exactly do you think the world will end? Climate change?

Climate change is not as bad as the government makes it out to be and better technology will help us deal with this problem better in the future, many industries are already shifting to more sustainable alternatives, in 20 years most cars on the street will be electric for example.

We’ll exist for millions of years to come and probably colonize the galaxy so even when earth gets destroyed by the sun humanity will prevail. Maybe by then we will have evolved to different creatures but “we” will still be alive.
