A house owned by a college fraternity, which is basically a Chad drinking club (if it's a top tier fraternity). It is used to throw parties and haze "pledges", who are the new members

do you pay to get in or do they vet prospective members by how good looking they are?

Mix. Usually you pay ($5-10) to get in if you're a guy, regardless of how you look, unless they see you as a prospective new member (meaning you're a chad/chadlite, pretty much). Also, even though you pay as a guy, if you don't bring enough girls (who are considered attractive enough) you will be turned away.

I saw many freshman guys try to get into frat houses alone or with only guys during my first year, either they would be turned away, or charged ridiculously high entry fees (up to $40, I've heard)

I went to a university where there were many large fraternities. They were one of the only ways to get drunk as a freshman guy unless you knew someone older. Basically if you weren't at least a normie with lots of girl friends you were fucked.

Random Question:
Is it worth it to dorm freshman year as an ugly dude? Im fat so Im gonna lose weight these nwxt 7 months before going to college. I wanna get laid and go to parties and have friends. But listening to this it sounds like its a pipedream. Will K be able to accomplish my goals?

Also I heard you need to pay 2-6k depending on the frat to stay in.

Yea, you have to pay to be in a fraternity. How much exactly varies from frat to frat, and if your school allows official fraternity houses.

You should definitely dorm freshman year. It's the best way to socialmax and usually your floormates are willing to socialize/drink with you even if you're ugly, especially during the first few weeks. During this time you can try to build a social circle, and hope that your weight loss makes you good looking.

Try to join a fraternity if you want and if you're willing to pay the money. It costs maybe $50-100 to sign up for fraternity rush and you can get in to some fun events I'm sure.

Definitely dorm though, most schools these days keep freshman in the same area so it's the best way to get to know your class and I heard of a lot of people getting laid that first week if they played their cards right.

The problem is out of the three schools i applied to that have dorming, only one of them has clout. And its a reach school for me.

I slacked off in high school and the only good thing about my app is I have a 1400 SAT but thats the avg of my target school.

I was thinking about going to CC the first two years to save money and transfer to a big name school to satisfy my ego but I dont wanna miss out on the college experience everyone talks about.

Can you still make friends, party, and have the college experience if you transfer in junior year? Or is that spark only there for the first two years? I wouldnt wanna do something to satisfy my insecurity while missing out on something you cant ever experience again.

The spark is the biggest by far for your first year. Socializing and getting girls will probably never be as easy as it is then for the rest of your life, barring any amazing physical transformation via surgery.

But if you are horrifically disgusting it won't really be a great experience. Really it depends on how you look after you lose the weight and how you value social experience versus money

Im PSL 3-3.5 rn irl 4
The thing is Im 230 lbs rn max I can drop down to is 190-200 if I try hard. Im mot sure how good id look at that weight level. I dropped down to 200 one time and I looked average but who knows if thatll be the case this time and if im not overrating myself?

Is it possible to have a social life and build relationships after transferring in junior year?

Yea of course, it's just never quite as easy to start things as the freshman year. It's still way easier than after you graduate. If you go junior year there isn't much of a point in joining a frat. You'll have to pledge for one semester, which is hell I've heard, and then you'll only really have 3 semesters to enjoy yourself.

You're fat, so realistically you can increase a lot in PSL, if you've got the right bones things could be extremely fun for you even if you go junior year.

Going to briefly chime in here. I started college at age 18 in 2006, and I was never "ugly" looking, aside from my eye area. Keep in mind, this was also back during the pre-Tinder era. However, despite that, I still got ZERO attention from females throughout my entire college experience.

Ded srs y bro?

Everyone has already formed their social circles and networks essentially. They will see you as an oddball with no friends and will be closed off to letting you infiltrate their network.
