There are a lot of wuxia games coming this year and the upcoming years like the balck myth: wukong, where winds meet. Looks promising, but still too early to judge.

Sleeping Dogs was decent, i also finished it last year.

I don't understand this fixation for Japan when Chinese empire was way more, diverse, stronger, bigger, richer, had some of the most unknown yet biggest wars in human history, interacted with lots of other empires, had incredible leaders, philoslphers, inventors, etc

It's really all because Japan is a US ally and they made them into entertainment prostitutes after WW2. Like no one denies samurai history and the shogunates and the mongol invasions and all but that is like 5% of China's history
