It's relative to who you are in the real world. But on here it's probably if you're less than medium brown hair, light brown eyes & white skin with pinkishness. Mixed people probably don't count. This is how I understand it.

The ones who have pure southern european ancestry are white, but people from the middle east are not.

If you go to a southern european country(Italy, Spain, Greece) you're gonna see both white looking people and ethnic looking people. The ethnic ones probably are either a mix of white and another ethnicity or are descendents of immigrants from north africa and the middle east.
