ISIS isn't run by the CIA, ironically that would be a claim one would attribute to the Taliban rather than the terrorist group.

The Taliban run Afghanistan as of now, but ISIS-K are present despite what the officials may say. The evidence is the Crocus attack which was exported from Khorasan, or the recent Shiite mosque attack that occurred.

The country is said to be improving but there's dissatisfaction within the ranks, like someone mentioned a while ago...they don't really implement Shari'ah like they claim. It's more so Pashtunwali, and the preference they have for Pashtuns is evident.

The Taliban are also working with the CIA to dismantle ISIS, on a counter-terrorism basis.
