I used to primarily listen to underground back from 2021 - 2024, but now i think it has had quite the downfall

Now i mostly listen to southern rap, hiphop, old rnb, soul, shoegaze, folk, rock and anything disco jungle or house

I cant stand fakemink because he just constantly nostalgia baits and doesnt bring anything new to the table, his music has no substance to me, making music for niggas born in 2009

yeah i can understand how someone might dislike the new scene and trends that have developped in the underground. I hate house or disco tho one of the most npc music style imo. I like folk but mostly new cuts that are pop flavoured and prob closer to pop. I listened to lots of shoegaze adjecent albums but most of them are also quite electronic like K1-kmoe any venturing (jane remover alias) and census designated-jane remover are my favs
