Because "lifting" doesn't incorporate free weights? Or are dumbbells considered "man made" too?Personally I wouldn't use a man made machine
Will it help me to stay lean? I just wanna be somewhat strong but maintain a lean physiqueLifting is better at building muscle. But calisthenics forces you to have good strength to weight ratio.
Lifting obviouslyWhat do you guys think?
Well calisthenics won't magically keep you in a calorie deficit. Diet is more important for leanness. Will it help me to stay lean? I just wanna be somewhat strong but maintain a lean physique
ropingWhat do you guys think?
bullshitobviously lifting, calisthenics doesn't do shit for muscle gain.
weight training is like 10x more efficentbullshit
i put on alot of muscle and recomped my body with calisthenics and so have a shit ton of other people, stop coping
That also worksroping
Thanks kind manWell calisthenics won't magically keep you in a calorie deficit. Diet is more important for leanness.
But the thing is, when guys start lifting they can eat sloppy but their lifts still go up because mass moves mass.
With calisthenics if you eat sloppy your performance will go down. So you won't get a dopamine rush from getting fat.
So if you care about leanness more than size, go calisthenics, it aligns with your goals better.
