what’s better, herbst appliance, or elastics, I have a class 2 overbite, I’m still 13 but I want to fix my 4mm jaw recession, I’ll also ask my ortho if I should get a palate expander. I don’t think anything is wrong with my maxilla tho.

i had an overbite they gave me elastics and it fixed it but if you’re a class 2 herbst is the better option

i mean your jaw look fine even now so even if they say elastics are enough i would go for it, but yea herbst is superior , its alot of husstle to put them elastic off and on everytime but if you get the herbst paid i would go for it. obviously like you said extraction is death sentence no one should do it

doesnt look like a mandible maxilla relationship it looks like its dental i highly doubt they will give herbst most likely will be elastics subtle difference to skeletal position but mostly teeth
