None of the total strangers I've gone up to in public have accepted my sex offer.

Still, here's why making the sex offer to a total stranger is a lot easier for me than asking out a foid I know well (who's given clues):

I'd feel like an autistic idiot if I turned out to be wrong about the clues (and then I'd be reminded of what an autistic idiot I am every time I ran into her from that point on)

On the other hand, there's no reason to feel like an idiot if a total stranger turns me down. Because I never had any reason to believe the total stranger was into me in the first place.

And as an added bonus, I'm highly unlikely to run into the total stranger ever again (running into a foid post-rejection is the worst)
