What's even the point of looksmaxxing? I believe as a man you shouldn't care about looks. Looks should come naturally to you

I used to worry so much about skincare. Having a whole routine before I sleep and waking up. Wearing sunscreen everyday. Running 5km daily+gyming. My skin is still fcked up and I feel like shit. But then I let myself go. Eat whatever I want which is mainly animal products (not bcs of some primal goatis stuff,but just bcs I like it the most,I still eat sweets when I feel like it). Only exercise when I feel like it,which is mostly just sports because Gym is so depressing. That's when I noticed that I looked the best and got the most attention from girls. If it's really as easy as that,then what's the point of looksmaxxing? Isnt the goal of looksmaxxing is just trying to imitate what a biologically fit homo sapiens? Shouldn't that just be what we look naturally?
