being "short" doesn't really give a disadvantage in fighting even if you had a couple months of training experience it would give you a 90% winning chance against someone whos similar weight but just taller than you whos never trained before

its more societal pressures and expectations in shit like job interviews, dating apps and media portraying that men have to be exceptionally tall and good looking from movies/writings etc being why its so prevalent nowadays but in terms of survivial and fighting being super tall wasn't that important because if it was then short people wouldn't exist because their ancestors wouldn't have survived millions and millions of years of evolution

but everything aside from that going outside into modern day society in terms of dating and social perception being short compared to most people feels like a cancer yes
