Personally, it's something that I will never experience and it kinda saddens me, at times, because it's something that I would've liked to experience.

But is it the be-all and end-all, when growing up, as a boy?

Instead, I have a sister (who is 1 year older than me) and we were relatively close when growing up, we got along pretty well, could relate to each other most of the time, got to hang out a lot together etc. > we had an excellent bond, overall.

But as we both entered a certain point in our teen years, she completely changed and went from being modest and reserved to adopting a more loud and obnoxious character (the personality type I hate the most in women, ngl), and I couldn't relate to her at all, anymore. (We usually get along fine these days, but I'm still annoyed by her at times, even though we only see each other once in a while)

Of course, this is around the age that girls realize they're worth something to the world, so naturally, behavioural changes will follow suit. This is also the phase where life becomes easier for girls, and harder for guys, thus making sure they can hardly relate to each other anymore.

I don't like to dwell on the past and be bitter about it (after all, I can't change it), but I feel like my life would be better (right now) if I had had a brother instead, as it arguably builds more character and you will always have someone who you can relate to.

I genuinely believe that it's crucial to have a brother, as a guy in this day and age.
You need someone who you can relate to and if that suddenly disappears, you're left with a vacuum that no one can replace, really.

Having a little brother is a major annoyance, especially when he's completely different from u. For example, u look at shows like Malcolm in the Middle, the Wimpy Kid movies and whatnot, and people get this idea that it's all exaggerated, but around the time either of u hit puberty and start getting mean and competitive is the moment you'll wish to have as close together as u were as kids playing LEGO or something.

Although I think that I will get along more w/ him once we're grown ups cause we might have to share "mailed allowance" (as my dad describes it) for a while.

Fighting, competing with each other, talking about stuff that only guys understand/can talk about, it's crazy how much you miss out on, in life, when you don't have a brother, it seems. Especially in this day and age where guys struggle more than ever before, in life.

Never experienced having a sister or not having brothers so can’t exactly compare. I’m not right with one and now that he’s moved out he might as well be a cousin, we basically don’t talk. Little bro is a loser but hey that means he’s home with me and it’s nice to have at least one friend by default in him

Lol they're literally ALL like this, what a surprise. Doesn't matter if she's from the slums of Eastern Europe, California, or anywhere in Western Europe, for that matter.

Bluepilled parents remain oblivious to it all, of course.

Having an older brother is probably ideal, it seems.

No. Twin brother is ideal. Could be bros and even if u act or even look somewhat different u can still hold bonds and help each other at school together.

Like imagine if your twin looks exactly like u and u have a recessed chin. Brutal, something happened there due to one's fault XD

You don't need much more, at least not at this age, I guess. Ideally, you probably would, but as long as you have him as a friend at home, someone who you can also relate to, that's still a million times better than having a sister who you cannot relate to all, and hardly even see.

Of course, this sounds far from ideal, but surely that builds at least some sort of character? I could be wrong, of course, as it's a very personal experience.

Thing is I mog him in every way possible especially brains and motivation so if I weren’t disabled he’d be in my dust and we wouldn’t be able to relate anyway. That’s what the future holds. One is successful but he’s a bluepilled dick, the other is chill and kinda blackpilled but a loser

Didn't build any character or made me better all it did was fuck my confidence growing up and made insecurities like my height worse at the time being 5'2 before he moved out (5'10 now) doesn't fuck with me anymore since I'm taller than him but all it did was me never wanting to talk to him.

I have a younger brother though and I have helped him.

Similar experience. Older bro wanted to be a bully and it basically costed him his brothers. I try to help my brother but all he wants to do is smoke and game. Parents really fucked up on him

My brother is pretty successful actually, he slayed in hs, he is now making 6 digits since he went into pharmacy and he has an ltr and lives in a condo. Parents were strict on him but man he never had my back on anything always belittled me and caused low confidence on me and worsened my insecurities.

I just kinda powered through everything I was noticeably the shorter guy in class most of the time and my brother made fun of it, beat the shit out of me at home and I couldn't defend myself since there was a massive age gap.

It's whatever nowadays I'm over it but my little brother prob has no idea since I always have his back and shit. I had to suffer through that shit for years.

Having an older brother can be one of two things:
1. He actually helps you and guides you throughout life and has your back.
2. He fucking treats you like shit and abuses you since he thinks is superior cus of age.

Sisterpill is brutal you see everyone treating her better including parents just cus she's female.

I find the contrast of lives mindblowing even Chad vs stacy, Chad has to bother with working everyday and suffers from similar problems altho to a much lesser degree than incels or average man. Stacy just stays inside makes tiktoks or only fans and just watches Netflix all day JFL while partying on weekends

Lots of parallels between me and my sister there lol. I wonder if parents ever think about this comparison between their children?
Probably not actively, but it must have crossed their minds at some point, that their daughter is able to live a certain lifestyle, and that their son is doing (or is forced to do) the polar opposite, surely?

Having a younger brother is really cool. I never despised him, even if we ever fought when we were young. The only thing I regret doing is choking/beating him up too many times to extremes when he was just a kid. I stopped doing that, cause I felt bad myself. Now I'm pretty protective towards him. And he's maturing too. He's 4 years younger than me.

You have to be stupid to have a brother and want a sister. I have some cousin sisters who are genuinely annoying and repulsive in all ways possible. Interacting with them is a waste of time, even if it is serious.

Another point to bring up is that so many retards over here who don't have a brother or have one will demand for a sister instead, because they think they can get to have sex with their sister lmao. This is full cope, even if your sister was a Stacy and you grew up together, you'll be biologically repulsed and won't want to have sex with her. It will be super weird if you do. All these incest stories you would ever read online about real brothers having sex with real sisters is written by sex-deprived soy neckbeards who're jerking off to such fantasies like dogs.

Having a brother is heaps good, life is very fulfilling. Your blood brother > cousin brother > any type of sister (blood or related).

3 major type of brothers relationships that i see:

1) they don't give a fuck about each other and one mind his own business

2) they're like best friends, same group of friends, always look up for each other

3) basically a fighting machine, you fight about literally anything, anything is good enough to fight but still stood up for each other.

i'm on the third group

Its extremely important to have a brother or very close male friends in development.

i have 3 sisters and they are ok but i can’t relate to them anymore. I dont believe you can actually be friends with ur sisters.

Everytime i bring up a controversial topic, they revert to emotion and impulse thinking based on what they see online.

meanwhile, luckily i grew up with neighbours my age and we hangout everyday since age 8-17. We played the same games, had the same kind of parents, same sports, same ideology of life. I wouldn’t trade it for anything tbh.

but having a brother whos alot younger or older than you wouldn’t be the same since ur are not at the same part of life

Especially in modern soyboy infested times, my brother is really the only person I can talk to who I feel hasn't gone crazy. We have common experiences and can relate to each other. Of course when we were younger we would get in fights all the time and argue and shit like that but around the time we were in high school that all sort of ended.

Its probably different for normies who have lots of friends but my brother is the only person who I can actually talk to, about something other than “Oh how about the weather, its so nice out today”. I think its really variable because I know a lot of people who have brothers that are really distant in their lifestyles and how they think about the world, so it causes problems. Especially because, if your brother has any problems, you feel obligated to help him, even if you might not like him. I have a friend whose brother is an alcoholic and hes always having to go pick him up and drive him home and help get his life together. Spending your entire life with someone until youre 18 really does make it a unique experience
