Semi far away, like not selfies.

They both show the exact same image just one is reversed and you are much more accustomed to the mirrored version.

however mirrors pics are easier to adjust in your favor, angle your head, position in favorable lighting and so on, while photographs from a different person can result in the exact oppssoite. Terrible lighting and angle. So neither is perfect and both are true

from my experience, two mirrors reflecting each other

basically a mirror, where you can observe your side profile from a reflection of another mirror

in these I think you can get the closest to how other people see you
