we have senses and memories to help us remember dangerous situations to increase our chance of surviving in nature. all desires are the same, they all tie back into biological roots. its either, 1. women/reproduction, 2. status, 3. resource gathering.

yeah everything truly is pointless at the end of the day. it doesn't matter if you choose to be greasy discord mod or a athletic swimmer. all that matters is your satisfaction in life, would you rather suffer for the remainder of your days or be happy for the remainder of your days?

this is the curse of human intelligence and consciousness. "human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution". too intelligent to not feel existential dread. not smart enough to fix it.
