It might seem dystopian but it just makes the world better

how?

to get rid of genetic diseases? or defects before birth? sure i can see that (curing diseases would be much better tho)

but to sterilise people without their consent? exterminate people who have a different skin colour or hair colour? hell no

okay that makes sense

birth defects and genetic diseases should be prevented and cured but in a humane and rational way

we shouldn’t kill, or oppress or treat someone unjustly because they have a defect. we should support them and let them live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives

instead of euguenics, i would strongly recommend curing diseases

i myself have a genetic condition i inherited from my dad. recently some scientists are using gene editing to successfully cure this defect for the first time and are now moving onto further trials to test and possibly even release this cure to the public

Ye I agree with eugenics from the point of view that they can birth children who are the best of health not from the point of view that we make only perfect people in whoever wants to birth the child

yes that makes sense. everyone wants their kids to be healthy and developed. this is normal

unfortunately most people who support eugenics are people who think we should exterminate and genocide different ethnic groups and people who have the wrong skin colour

don’t call yourself a supporter of eugenics because that term has been tainted for a long time

we should support scientists and doctors to help cure diseases and make people healthier and stronger

imagine we finally find a cure for a genetic disease 🤩

we got rid of smallpox, basically got rid of polio, we can do this for other diseases too including genetic ones too
