What’s the actual use for carbs?

Been a carb hater for a while, but I wanna understand

Why tf would anyone want to consume 300g+ per day??
No way you’ll need that much “energy” ever. Just eat a banana before a workout, that’s all you may need for performance

Carbs are the main source of all energy you retard. Your brain loves carbs, your muscles love carbs, and your performance tanks without them. Hate processed junk, not carbs.
