MMA mimics a street fight better than boxing. Although getting into a fight on the street isn't advised

With the sparring level you adquire from boxing you can finish the fight faster. Also as I said before, you will learn the boxing basics way faster than MMA

If you're going to do boxing why wouldn't you do something more complete like kick boxing or Muay Thai

mma

stop wasting time on boxing etc

if you rly want to be a good mma fighter either learn kickboxing (see adesanya, perreira, ) or wrestling (khabib, khamzat, islam)

Because the sparring you'll learn from boxing is way superior

BJJ moggs all as only those who train innit have the tools to fight back

Can tell you’ve never been in a street fight.

Avoid at all costs going to the ground, especially on concrete and especially for street fights where the dudes friends will bash your head in while you’re laying on the ground defenseless.

Best sport for real life scenarios is Muay Thai/Kickboxing, however, avoid throwing anything else than low kicks if needed. Punches only. Hit first and hard on the chin then dip.

Or simply just avoid fighting all together

If you are going to give punchs only, boxing is better. You will learn better sparring.

freestyle wrestling

It all depends on the situation. 99% of guys aren’t even trained so just a few basics are more than enough if you know how to stay cold blooded and not get exhausted from the adrenaline rush.

I been in many fights probably more than you and everybody in this thread although since adulthood (age 19+) the frequency has been less.

I myself vouch for kickboxing and Muay Thai as I myself used to be a practitioner of both for a few years and Thai is my favourite martial arts however anybody can block a punch and kick, how many people can defend against a BJJ practitioner who has you in multiple arm locks etc. also BJJ removes the advantage a larger man will have over you something striking oriented martial arts don’t do as well without having to do some bullshit to compensate

MMA would have elements of BJJ
Yeah but I wasn’t speaking about MMA but yes I’d say overall that’s the best but if your asking “what’s the best” chances are you are lacking intrest in combat sports to begin with or lacking on time which MMA requires due to it being “mixed” instead of focusing on one thing. It works best for ADHD abused niggaz like me

Well that's basically Sean Strickland's game but he has great takedown defence which he wouldn't know if he only did boxing

BJJ only works on mats and grass.

Someone oversizing you will also overpower you and just smash you against the curb leaving you dead next to him.

Blocking bare knuckle is also dumb and not a single dude so far had the reflex to block or even use any ounce of foot work to not get smashed in one hit on the chin.

Well yea that’s cos YOU know where to punch the avg man doesn’t, I also fight more strategically than most which is important considering I’m an berserker Tank type of fighter who loses my awareness when I see red so before the. I utilise all the skill I can before such rage take over and I find one chop to the apple is enough to make a 6’2 roidcel leave you be .

Still a manlet with shit power small hands etc will benifit from doing BJJ on a normie than trying to trade with strikes which is what striking martial arts is, it’s a trading game unless you have one of those “one hit quitter” typa power. What happens when you fight a guy willing to do ANYTHING to win? Or a guy with a strong chin? Personally I find elbowing these guys to work best or throwing random objects in their face

What would u choose between kick boxing and muay thai ? I would also do mma but people say its too hard for a newbie

That's right, "hey guys I train hard to fight, I have really good form and technique but for some fucking reason I run away like a coward in the streets because the environment is unpredictable and uncontrolled and it scares me".

You dumbass a street fight is what will prove whether your training has sinked in, your reflexes and instincts are on point and sharp and you can think on your feet.

If you have the balls to fight in the streets, you will destroy in the cage.

If you can handle a high pressure environment like the streets, you'll be invincible with training.

The only reason why Kyokushin Karate is the best and most practical form of Karate over the rest is because it's founder went around picking fights on the streets.

That's what Krav Maga is SUPPOSED to be about. But Jews being Jews do retarded and impractical moves that won't work in a fight or flight situation.

Only someone who has to fiercely defend himself in the streets will know the "street smarts" practicality of "how to fight on what scenarios".

The WORLD IS THE FUCKING WORLD. THERE ARE NO, NO-CONFLICT ZONES. THERE ARE NO SAFE SPACES.

SAFE SPACES ONLY EXIST WHEN YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO FIGHT BACK AND FORCE THEM TO SUBMIT AND TEACH THEM A LESSON.

WWE obviously. There is nothing more devastating than a well executed cobra from Santino Marella

Kyokushin is godly for striking. Learn it.
