Facial hair is probably the closest thing we have to makeup (besides makeup, ofc) and with it comes some sort of artistic/creative license. Stubble would give make you looks more masc, like clean-shaven will give you more prettyboy appeal. If you can grow facial hair all over your lower third, try out different styles.

Its depends on your face. What is your jawline weakness and what is not. If you have small chin goatee would be good. If you have weak gonials stubbles with fade. If you have good jawline then 5 o clock shadow or clean shaven. 5 o clock shadow makes me look like kebab butcher. Not good for my pheno. Its fits for people that have lighter hair or black skin.

Not even decent jaw is enough. .. You need to have SUPER DUPER VERY GOOD jawline and good facial ratios for clean shaven look. If Gonials are too hight. Your jawline looks narrow. If philitrum is to high with thin lips you need something there.. If chin is small you need something there. You need like 1% percentile jawline to make your clean shaven look good.
