It depends on the face but probably his upper jaw was less of an issue than his lower, advancing the lower and then downgrafting the chin to make the face look longer.

That‘s done allot, single jaw surgery can sometimes correct malocclusion on it‘s own, again depends on bite

Minimal risk if you go with a good surgeon. Average run of the mill maxillofacial might not be able to, though. All depends on skill (skill issue, jfl)
