What’s the best way to train as a newbie.

Other than just starting, is there a specific split I should start with? Like full body split or should i do like push pull legs kinda split? Idk but I wanna maximize newbie gains so I don’t waste fast growth, im 17 btw. 155 lbs 6’0

i personally do limbs, torso and legs split, antagonizing muscles. At the end, diet and rest should be prioritized

there's no ideal routine, you'll gain size doing anything as a beginner, and it takes a while before you know what works for you, your specific leverages won't lend themselves to movements the same way they do for others.

nigga just lift and eat carbs and protein youre never gonna get big if you want the perfect routine to work out with 1000000,000000 steps being aesthetic is 10% lifting heavy 90% eating alot

if you want to be small forever, you won't gain anything if you don't bulk past like a year of training, most guys get stuck there because they're too afraid, hence why most natural lifters are skeletons with abs.

skeleton with abs is not a bad look but you it won't add any presence in real life, you're basically just a normal skinny guy even if you're wearing a tank top.

1 set of pullups, pushups, dips, planks, reverse calf raises, and one legged squats each to failure is a good full body workout to start with

Bulking is necessary for experienced bodybuilders, but new lifters easily gain muscle at maintenance. It’s when you’ve hit a plateau that bulking enters the equation.

Also it’s not 90%/10%, that’s retarded pseudoscience gymbro nonsense. It’s 50/50 or 100/100. You’re never going to gain muscle if you eat like a squirrel, but you’re also never going to gain muscle if all you do is lift some 8 pound weights 5 times. You need both.
