Could be someone you know, a celebrity, a friend, or even yourself.

Not talking about minor mistakes either. I’m talking one decision that completely changed the direction of their life for better or worse.

Always interesting hearing these stories because some people recover from insane situations while others never really bounce back.

Of people I've personally known, marrying and/or having kids with the wrong person is the one I pity the most, my brother is going down this route and now my entire family can't talk to him because of the conflicts between his fiancee and all of us. I've known people who were imprisoned and got out, or dirt poor (I was homeless at two different points), or serious health problems (also me at one point). But all of that seems much easier to move on from than divorce and child support type shit.

There was a job I really wanted that probably would've been life changing for me. I was rejected for it today, probably because of two mistakes I've made at my current job in the past two years. Now all I can think about is those mistakes.

When I was homeless I was sleeping on the bench seat in my truck, showering at the gym, maybe I just got used to it but it wasn't that bad. And I was working the whole time so it only lasted a few months. Someone who's legit on the streets obviously has it rough but even then there's ways out of that. I've seen up close with people I know how bad some marriages can get, where the foid has complete control and the guy can't leave for financial or legal reasons, and everyday being in their own home is miserable, it's the no way out that seems so hopeless to me.
