I'm talking about all levels, from high skilled migrants; to low skilled; to students; to those on care work visa; and the boat people. I would say the majority of the population has an issue with at least 2 of these migrant groups

If you’re British and have done a postgraduate degree, you’d know that the degree is basically useless. The degree is incredibly lenient and impossible to fail. Unis do this to fund their course

There's not really much they can do, with an aging population - someone has to pay for their pensions and heating so they don't freeze in the winter. Due to low birth rates, there's fewer and fewer tax payers to fund this.

Labour might go after the Albanian gangs stop some illegal immigration. But it will barely change anything.

As for the refugees who cross the English channel on rubber boats; there's nothing to change that without turning the country into a pariah. We're not Russia or Israel.

There is also the option of trying to make the UK more productive, if you put restrictions on band aids like foreign labour, employers must find new ways to get the job done for cheaper to stay competitive.

What that means, for example the construction industry, instead of relying on poles and Romanians, u invest in automation and pre cast assembly or even 3D printing. Shit gets done without the overhead of manpower and true business is more profitable, thus increasing productivity.

I can see this strategy being the case over the next 10 years, and if it fails, they can always turn the migrant tap back on
