Does it really fuck collagen? I'd benefit from it a lot on beard + eyebrows, but also I'm in my mid 20s so can't really be taking time off my skin

From my research, claims about collagen loss seems a bit unsubstantiated. There are probably more users that don't experience any collagen related issues. Keep in mind that many men know absolutely shit about skincare. This becomes clear if you browse r/minoxbeards, as most people there simply don't seem to care. Many are also under the impression that you can't do adequate skincare at the same time that you do minox. It is thus very likely that people who claim experiencing minox-induced collagen loss just aged naturally, developed dry skin and became more conscious about their appearance. Make sure to just have a good skincare routine and you will probably be fine. If you are really worried, consider buying a microneedeling device. It will boost your collagen and speed up the minox gains at the same time.

Hmm. I'd say it's anecdotal, but you can use it try it out.. It's just when I put it on my forehead, my skin gets damaged, and I accidently spilled a bit of topical minoxidil on my hand and I got some redness/irritation. You can try it out for yourself but this was my experience. I've never used it on my beard, only on my forehead/scalp

I see. If you by damage mean irritation, that is of course a well know problem with topical minox. Despite having sensitive skin, I luckily haven't experienced this so far. And I am going all in, applying to my scalp, forehead, brows and beard. Gonna monkeymaxx and look like my avi.

Yeah, mirin that one hard. I am actually pretty close to that at my base myself, tbh. But I want to improve more upon it. I hope to get gains in my lashes from some of the topical going systemic. Seems to be a pretty common occurrence, judging from r/minoxbeards. Hope oral Minox works for you and that you won’t have to bother with any sides with your heart.

Lil update. I've been using oral castor oil for the past few weeks. This shit is absolutely insane. My eyelashes are like 4x longer and thicker, my eyebrows are denser, I'm getting new vellus hairs on my beard. Just more hair everywhere

Sub-lingual seems to be the way to go for best results though, so you will not really be drinking it. Make sure that you don't overdose as well: Start with one drop(minoxidil 5%) and eventually increase to two drops a day(one in the morning, one in the evening) .

Wouldn't have much synergy at all imo. Both work the same way, through Pge2 signaling. It would be redundant. If anything oral castor oil and topical minox might go well together, because you're combining systemic and topical action

I wasn't aware of this. But it is still not clear to me that it would be redundant. It might be, if the celling for maximum results is fairly low. If it is not, combing oral min and oral castor oil might help with minimizing side effects, as opposed to going all in on one type or treatment, if that makes sense.
