What's the deal with the fringe haircut?

It seems form what i see at my highschool that the fringe hair is the only correct choice to get any sort of female attention. I've even seen a girl lose interest in a chadlite guy when he changed his hair from fringe to something shorter.
Why is that? Does it actually improve your ratios or is it just the result of tiktok prettyboy exposure.

It frames the face very aesthetically and hides any imperfections in the hairline.

It's a hairstyle going back thousands of years for a reason.

I have no idea why it took until the early 2020s/late 2010s to catch on and become super popular though.

It looks stupid on older people though. It's only ideal for teens and young adults.
It also emphasizes a masculine, athletic, low body fat face. It looks very bad on overweight men.

Not by microplastics. It can be caused by higher than optimal conversion of testosterone to estogen. That's my case for example. I've always been skinny and very high T. But apparently i have shit conversion or androgen sensitivity because i developed gyno at like 13. (No fat but the puffy nipple).

Its perfection you should not complain. It creates the illusion of a wider face, hides a big forehead, hides a shit hairline and the list goes on. I would use it even if it was not fashion (as i always did lol)
