What's the difference between a recessed chin/jaw?

I think a recessed chin would be a chin with a very high mentolabial angle, and a recessed jaw would be a downswing of the mandible. I might be wrong tho

Recessed chin is when the chin itself is positioned further back than it should be, but the overall jaw may still be in a normal position
while recessed jaw is when the entire lower jaw (mandible) is set back compared to the upper jaw
