I'm not an expert, but le high point of you cheekbone should be as close as possivle to your eye level, and the lower point should be somewhat high too, leaving room for hollow cheeks
idk how you can tell this is high, this is low with measurements tho, but eyeballing it is pretty easy

Also isn't the hollowness larger with people with higher cheekbones?

i don't think men truly have lowset cheekbones unless it's a genuine bodily issue. it's always highset low mass or midset high mass, with varying degrees of placement
