He slimmed down, got a chin implant or some other form of chin augmentation and used perfect lighting and filter. Meanwhile the first pic has bad lightning. That’s pretty much it

Well first off he shaved his beard and has stubble instead. Next he doesn't have direct artificial lighting on his face which causes the appearance of flushed skin, sparser eyebrows, etc. Then he had better natural lighting, sucked his cheeks in, and squinched for the camera.
