What is the difference in Damon braces and traditional braces?

I’m going to the dentist today and I’m gonna talk to them about braces

I have a 100% overbite what would be better for me and why?

Damon braces self align themselves whereas traditional braces do not. Both will yield results ,but damon braces are better because they do not need to be corrected as much as traditional braces i.e fewer doctor visits.
