What's the difference in using ret and tret?

Ret (retinol), that's a word now, can be used everyday whereas tret should maybe be used 1-2 times a week.

Does this mean that ret also needs to be on your skin for longer before it's fully absorbed? Some people say it only needs to be left on for 20 minutes and then you can wash it for, but I don't think that's accurate.

you can use regular ret everyday but it does take a lot longer to work. tret is way stronger and should be used with caution.
