whats the effect of sarpe

im gonna get sarpe really soon, im 18 years old and have a too narrow upper palate. it is purely functional and not for looks. they said i will have a tooth gap for 1 full year.
during the surgery they will also remove my wisdom teeth and canine since they are impacted and too high they said (they are partly visible while smiling)
how will my looks change, will it worsen or better, and how can i maybe maximize the effect for my looks, and yeah im new

Look at a pic and reason your way there, it will widen the lefort 1 area. You upper arch will widen which means less buccal corridors. Your alar base(nose will widen at the base)might get slightly wider. Your nasal passage will be slightly improved, you will fix your crossibite ? And that's it, not much aesthetic diffrence really
