What's the ideal IPD range?

Is this a good thing or am I far from the ideal range?

As long as the IPD is around 45-47% of the bizygomatic width, it will look harmonious.

The wider the face is, the wider the IPD will have to be, and the narrower the face is, the narrower the IPD will have to be.
