You lose 10 percent of your total athletic potential because the muscles in your legs are stretched as fuck and you also won’t be walking the same because your centre of gravity will be different. The athletic ability thing won’t matter unless you want to be in the NBA or some shit but the stretched muscle could be an issue if you don’t incorporate daily stretches into your routine after the LL

if you lengthen under 10cm; almost nothing. there are athletic people on LL forum who are running for longer/faster after lengthening 3 inches than before they lengthened.

ofc you have to be young, fit, flexible, etc.. if you are a 50 year old sedentary oldcel and do so much as fall on a banana (not even go for LL) you are going to get fooked.

ALOT of pain and 100k dollars

might consider LL 2 or at least 3 inches to be 5'10-5'11 in the future

Short term
- Pain and money

Long term
- Flexibility of muscles, explosiveness and potential range of motion issues

I think this is why they literally have you doing physiotherapy days after the procedure and beforehand they make sure you are flexible.

Tbh I hope they lengthen the muscle along with the bone in the future so this won’t be a problem anymore

It’s not really a real issue because if you stretch constantly and work out your legs over time the stretched tissue will go back to normal and you won’t have any long term problems it’s just an issue if you lengthen too much and the stretched tissue has a difficult time recovering

Wrong. You can legnthen 6cm and still have complications. It depends on a variety of things, genetics, height, soft tissues adaptability, etc.

As long as you lengthen less than 5cm the risk of complication is lower, OP.
