and how many lbs yall lost

Zero cals for ~48ish hours. I can do it a few times a month to burn off an extra ~4000kcal or one pound (half a kilo) per fast.

Feels too bad trying to push for 72+ so I never do it. You start thinking about food constantly at this point and it isn't comfortable.

During normal cuts I just go 400-500kcal under maintenance so around 1500kcal a day, or 1800kcal on lifting days with ~200g protein.

10 raw egg whites and 1 small to medium sized home cooked steak for an entire day. Doing this currently and I measure with how many ribs I can see now and it has worked

man that sounds horrible, did you look good at the end? :feelsgah:

I've fasted for 4 days before. I've lost 50lbs total, over the course of like 6 years, however now my norwooding has progressed to the point where the progress I made is basically useless :lul::feelswhy:

No rebound, sometimes I yoyo up and down for a week if I get sloppy on my diet. I’m on it now, down 30 lbs. im cheating by using Semaglutide.

2250 calories a day to lose 10kg in 4 months

Yeah got sharp zygos. But then COVID happened and I became bloated again.
Probably shouldve done 800 to 1000 calories instead to get enough protein to not lose as much muscle

Won't 48hr fast make u catabolic ??

Will lose weight faster for sure, but for people where keeping muscle is important it could be bad no?

I did not have any muscle at that time... it was the beginning cut. And I went full autistic.

Nope, even a 48h fast (as long as you eat normally the other 3-5 days of the week) is considered a form of intermittent fasting, which has been proven in peer reviewed studies (with various control groups trying to lose weight under the supervision of doctors) to be neither catabolic or anabolic, but preserve current muscle mass.

Going into extreme fasts like 5 days, 10 days, 15 days will be catabolic and is not good for maintaining muscle mass though though. You will lose a ton of fat, but you will also lose muscle mass on those extreme diets.

I very rarely go beyond 24-30 hours though. It's a nice boost to fat loss, but it's also mentally fatiguing to do. I do a nearly daily 24h and towards the end I have always felt hungry even though I've been doing it for countless years, that feeling never goes away. A 48h fast (for me) is bordering on extreme, I can do it occassionally.
